Usually normal; low in August to October 2023 and July 2024; good to high in January 2023 and March 2025; elevated and brown in September 2025.

Loose bolts are a recurring theme: the R6 left hanger sat on cracking rock (March 2019), the R8 and R9 back-ups needed tightening (October 2022), the R1 left hanger nut was totally loose (March 2024), the R2 anchor was replaced after a loose parabolt (July 2024), and the lower anchor and chain bolt of the last rappel have been loose more than once (August 2023, March 2025). In June 2023, during an international canyoning meeting, four **chemical bolts** were placed on R6 and R7 to replace the trees (R6 on a block beside the old tree, whose sling can serve as a deviation; R7 two metres below the old tree on a ledge, with almost no rub), and the slide bolt before the last waterfall was moved further back. A new anchor below the deviation on the last waterfall (June 2022) means the canyon can be done with 2 x 25 m ropes. Some still use the R6 tree, managing slight rub mid-pitch.

Three large trees fell before the last rappel in June 2022 and are gradually being cut; further trunks lie in the lower riverbed (December 2024, July 2025), and the mini-toboggan below them should be checked before use. The rockfall zones along the canyon are easy to pass. In very high flow (March 2025) the last waterfall requires a guided rappel; on 16 January 2023 the canyon was too full to descend.

Access and parking. Follow the blue "Poço das Pulgas" signs: forest road, up a dry riverbed on the left, right into the forest, a flat section, then a steep descent at the third sign with a big arrow, cross a small riverbed, climb a wooden ladder and follow the steel cable, cross another riverbed and reach Camisa. Parking at the fountain is limited to two cars and was blocked for much of 2022 by house construction; the alternative is a few hundred metres lower, by a small grey concrete building (32.807277, -16.999822). By October 2023 the upper parking was open again. The path to the upper two waterfalls (R1/R2) starts river right at the foot of the Poço das Pulgas waterfall, about 100 m upstream: notoriously muddy and exposed. A short handrail was installed there in January 2023 (bad rock); the steel cable and cemented steps were renewed in June 2022, but by December 2024 the second cable section had been broken by rockfall, making that climb exposed. Occasional landslides and fallen branches affect the approach (2019, 2021, 2024). Return river left after the last waterfall, staying by the riverbed rather than following the blue sign.
