Strong Experience Required
Level 5 canyoning is for highly experienced adventurers only. Guests must either have completed Level 4 with us or clearly demonstrate strong experience in climbing, mountaineering, or technical rope work.

Expert Level & Full-Day Adventure
Level 5 expeditions feature very long approaches and exits (up to 1–1.5 hours each), extremely vertical terrain, many rappels including multi-pitch rappels, and maximum rappel heights up to 110 meters. These are full-day activities with minimal safety exits and complex logistics. Level 5 represents the highest canyoning level offered with guides in Madeira. These canyons are intense, technical, and incredibly rewarding — offering maximum verticality, adrenaline, and some of the most spectacular environments Madeira has to offer.
