Ribeira do Inferno Inferior is one of the longest and most demanding canyoning in Madeira experiences, stretching 3100 meters through São Vicente's dramatic landscape. This level 3-4 Madeira canyoning adventure features 27 rappels with waterfalls up to 42 meters, offering a full-day expedition for experienced canyoneers. The name 'Hell's River' reflects the canyon's challenging nature with sustained technical sections. Best attempted in summer when water levels are manageable. A true test of Madeira Island canyoning endurance.
