Little detailed information is available for this canyon beyond its technical data. It is a strongly vertical but essentially dry canyon (aquatic grade 1) in Porto Moniz, dropping from 630 m to 70 m over only 850 m of length. There are 16 rappels, the highest waterfall is 100 m and two 60 m ropes are the minimum. The approach takes about 25 min, the descent around 4 h and the return 20 min, with a 7 km car shuttle between the two ends. Nothing has been published about the condition of the anchors, the behaviour of the water through the seasons or the details of the access and exit.
