Ribeiro Frio Inferior is an exciting level 4 canyon in Machico, named after the famous cold springs of the area. This challenging Madeira canyoning route features 9 rappels with a maximum 55-meter waterfall descent over 1800 meters. The canyon passes through some of Madeira's most beautiful laurisilva forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site. A must-do for intermediate canyoneers visiting Madeira who want to experience the island's unique ecosystem.
