Ribeira da Água do Vento Superior is a scenic level 2 canyon perfect for intermediate canyoning in Madeira. Located in Porto Moniz on Madeira's north coast, this popular Madeira canyoning tour features 17 rappels through lush laurisilva forest with a maximum waterfall of 45 meters. The 600-meter descent takes you through narrow gorges carved by centuries of water flow, with crystal-clear natural pools ideal for swimming. Best visited May-October when water levels are moderate.
